Flash Goddess Gallery Submission Information

Overview
The Flash Goddess Gallery is an online showcase for experimental and artistic Flash experiences. The Gallery will feature a new experience on a bi-monthly basis. The creator has the opportunity to share an artist statement, and the curator will provide a brief review of the piece.

We will provide a setting for innovative work that may be considered too experimental for commercial projects.

Mission
The goal of the Flash Goddess Gallery is to extend the main Flash Goddess web site and highlight women who are pioneering in their use of Flash. We intend to bolster the exposure of women and give recognition to women of distinction in this field by providing a destination for experiencing creative interactive media.

We seek to inspire users to extend their view of Flash capabilities and to challenge their own creative limits by demonstrating a wide range of inventive uses of Flash.

Submission Guidelines
- Each submission must be created by a woman (or for groups, there must be at least one female collaborator).
- The submission must not violate any copyright laws and all work must be of your creation.
- This should go without saying, but submissions of a pornographic nature will NOT be accepted.
- You may submit as many times as you like.
- Groups, collaborators, or collectives may submit pieces.
- Submissions may employ any version of Flash.
- The creator retains all rights to her work.

Selection Process
- Creativity is the driving criteria of the Flash Goddess Gallery. This includes the areas of design, music, programming, etc.
- Additional consideration will be given for innovation in the areas of interaction, usability, utility, and content.
- The Gallery will display one selection every other month.
- Upon selection, the submitter will receive a "Flash Goddess Gallery Featured Artist" graphic to use in her own promotional materials.
